User Agreement
Access to and use of this website are conditional upon your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read the following terms and conditions closely before using our website. If you do not agree with any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use this website.
Any use of the www.saceylon.com website, or written communication with SaCeylon (Pvt) Ltd, for the purposes of travel arrangements, confirms that you are aged 18 or over and that you have read and fully accept these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are devised for the protection of all parties.
Booking Conditions
Ownership
The SaCeylon (Pvt) Ltd website is owned and operated by SaCeylon (Pvt) Ltd, with offices located at 280/D, Kaduwela Road, Battaramulla, Sri Lanka.
Supplier Relationships
SaCeylon (Pvt) Ltd deals with numerous suppliers in Sri Lanka to offer goods and services through the www.saceylon.com website.
When goods or services are purchased or reservations are made through our website, the individual terms and conditions of these suppliers will also apply. Customers are responsible for reading the supplier’s terms and conditions, including booking conditions, which are available on request.
Booking Your Holiday
Confirmation
A booking is accepted only after we receive written confirmation from you along with full payment OR a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the value of the Travel Arrangements.
For Peak Season Bookings, a 50% advance payment of the total value is required.
If the booking is made within 30 days of arrival in Sri Lanka, then full payment is required at the time of confirmation.
Final Payment
The balance of payment due for Your Travel Arrangements must be paid by you no later than 30 days before arrival in Sri Lanka. Failure to meet this deadline may result in your booking being treated as cancelled.
Methods of Payment
Bank Transfers
Payments may be made by bank transfer. Any charges arising outside Sri Lanka must be borne by the remitter.
Credit/Debit Cards
We accept Visa and MasterCard payments via a secure internet payment gateway. A handling fee of 3.40% is charged additionally to the agreed invoice value.
Your card details are processed securely by Sampath Bank, and SaCeylon (Pvt) Ltd does not receive or store these details.
Payments can be made in USD, Euro, GBP, or LKR.
Price Policy
We offer customised packages using various suppliers. Prices may change due to factors beyond our control, such as governmental actions, currency exchange rate fluctuations, and supplier price increases.
If the price of Your Travel Arrangements is increased due to such factors, you must either pay the additional amount or cancel your booking in accordance with these terms.
Amendments and Cancellations
Amendments
We reserve the right to charge USD 100 per change for transferring to another tour, modifying a confirmed booking, or altering Your Travel Arrangements.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be notified in writing. The following penalties apply:
41 to 60 days: Forfeit of deposit | |
30 to 40 days: 50% of total ground arrangement cost | |
20 to 29 days: 75% of total ground arrangement cost | |
19 days or less: No refund |
Cancellation fees for boutique properties and airfare will be applied based on their specific policies.
Health, Passport, and Visas
It is your responsibility to ensure all travel documents, including passports, visas, and medical certificates, are valid before travel. SaCeylon (Pvt) Ltd will not be held responsible for travel issues caused by incorrect documentation.
International and Domestic Air Booking
Reconfirmation of flight bookings is your responsibility. You must keep us updated with flight details to ensure seamless travel arrangements.
Travel Insurance
You are strongly advised to purchase personal travel insurance at the time of booking to cover all travel-related risks. Booking acceptance confirms that you have obtained adequate insurance.
Responsibility
We accept responsibility for incidents arising due to our negligence in providing services included in your travel itinerary. However, we act as a coordinator for services provided by third-party suppliers (e.g., hotels, transport providers, activity operators) and are not liable for their performance.
Exclusion of Liability
SaCeylon (Pvt) Ltd shall not be liable for:
Any force majeure events (e.g., war, strikes, natural disasters). | |
Personal loss, injury, or property damage not directly caused by our negligence. | |
Unforeseen changes in travel arrangements due to supplier or external issues. |
Behaviour
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate behaviour during travel. Disruptive or dangerous behaviour may result in termination of services without compensation.
Breakages and Damages
You are liable for any damages caused during your stay. Payment for such damages must be settled with the supplier before departure.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
Complaints
For complaints during your travel, you must notify the service provider and inform SaCeylon (Pvt) Ltd immediately. If unresolved, you may submit a formal complaint within 28 days of your return.
