Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Negombo
Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly greeted and assisted by our driver/guide. After settling into your accommodation, enjoy a leisurely transfer to Negombo. This charming coastal town is renowned for its beautiful sandy beaches and vibrant fishing community. Spend the evening relaxing by the beach or exploring the local markets and restaurants.
Day 2: Transfer to Sigiriya with Enroute Visits
After breakfast, embark on a journey to Sigiriya. En route, stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you’ll have the chance to see elephants being fed and bathed. Continue to the Golden Temple Caves in Dambulla, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its impressive cave temples adorned with intricate murals and statues. Upon arrival in Sigiriya, check into your accommodation and relax.
Day 3: Sigiriya Rock Fortress and Traditional Village Experience
Begin the day with a visit to the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a 5th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site. Climb the ancient rock to admire its stunning frescoes and panoramic views from the summit. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the charm of a traditional Sri Lankan village. Experience local life, witness chena cultivation (a traditional farming practice), and savor a delicious, authentic Sri Lankan lunch prepared by village locals.
Day 4: Historical Polonnaruwa and Minneriya Safari
Travel to Polonnaruwa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the ancient capital of Sri Lanka. Explore the well-preserved ruins, including the Royal Palace, Gal Vihara (rock temple), and the Parakrama Samudra (a massive reservoir). In the afternoon, enjoy a thrilling jeep safari at Minneriya National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and diverse wildlife.
Day 5: Transfer to Kandy with Cultural Highlights
Transfer to Kandy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its cultural significance. Day 7: Leisure in Nuwara Eliya and Horton Plains National Park
Spend the day at leisure in Nuwara Eliya, relaxing at your hotel or exploring the beautiful surroundings. In the morning, visit Horton Plains National Park, known for its stunning scenery and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a trek to World’s End, a dramatic cliff with breathtaking views, and explore the park’s unique ecosystem.
Day 8: Transfer to Yala and Jeep Safari
Leave early for Yala, one of Sri Lanka’s premier wildlife destinations. After checking into your accommodation, embark on an afternoon jeep safari at Yala National Park. The park is famous for its high density of leopards, as well as its elephants, sloth bears, and a wide variety of bird species.
Day 9 – 13: Beach Stay in Galle
Transfer to Galle, a historic coastal city known for its well-preserved Dutch colonial architecture and stunning beaches. Enjoy a relaxing beach stay over the next five days. Lounge on the pristine sandy shores, take part in water activities, or explore the charming streets of Galle’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 12: Departure Transfer
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure. Reflect on your memorable journey through Sri Lanka as you head to your next destination.

In the morning, visit the Turtle Hatchery in Kosgoda. This conservation center is dedicated to protecting sea turtles and their nests. Learn about the vital conservation efforts and watch as hatchlings are released into the sea, contributing to the preservation of these fascinating creatures.
